IME Elektrik Müh. Taah. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti, as the data controller, has prepared this information text for job applicants in order to fulfill our obligation to inform under the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.
According to the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law/KVKK”), any kind of information and document that identifies the individual, such as name/surname, address, place and date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, educational background, education information, work experience, foreign language skills, seminars, conferences and certificate programs attended, and references are considered personal data.
In this regard, if you include a reference person in your resume, it is your responsibility to obtain the clear consent from the reference person. If you have not obtained any explicit consent, and if there is no exception arising from the Law, please inform us in writing. We would like to emphasize that our Company does not accept any responsibility for this matter and we assume that explicit consent has been obtained lawfully.
PURPOSE OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data collected will be processed for the purposes of planning and/or executing our human resources policies and processes, conducting job application, selection and evaluation processes in accordance with the basic principles envisaged in the Law and the personal data processing conditions envisaged in Article 5 of the Law, carrying out the necessary internal and external communication activities for the placement of job candidates and for the reference or intelligence activities for personnel supply or Company security processes, and planning and/or executing the activities for ensuring the legal and technical security of the relevant persons in business relations with our Company, (“Purposes”).
PARTIES TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE TRANSFERRED AND THE PURPOSES OF TRANSFER
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, and legally authorized private legal entities in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and the Purposes stated above.
PROCESSING METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data is collected through digital application forms published in written or electronic media, resumes submitted by job candidates to the Company via e-mail, mail, fax, internet website recruitment portals, reference or similar methods, and through electronic and/or physical means by employment or consultancy companies when you contact our Company. Your video recordings will be collected through the cameras placed in the workplace buildings and campuses of the Company in order to ensure workplace security.
Your collected personal data may be processed and shared by automatic means based on the legal grounds of the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, making the data publicly available by the relevant person and establishment, use and protection of a right, legitimate interests of the data controller provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person, as stipulated in Article 5 of the KVKK.
As a data subject, we inform you that you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:
To learn whether your personal data have been processed or not,
To request information about the processing of your personal data,
To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are being used for their intended purpose,
To know the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred domestically or internationally,
To request the correction of your incomplete or inaccurate personal data, and to request that the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred be notified of the correction process,
To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data in case the reasons requiring their processing cease to exist, even if they have been processed in compliance with the Law and other relevant legislation, and to request that the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred be notified of the deletion or destruction process,
To object to any negative result that may arise from the processing of your data exclusively through automated systems,
To request compensation for any damages you may suffer due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Your requests will be fulfilled by İme Elektrik free of charge within the shortest time possible, not exceeding thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. However, if İme Elektrik incurs any additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board tariff will be charged.
